SPEED SCRAP MANIA THAT INLCUDES FREEBIES!!!

If you want to enjoy the most fun digital scrapping experience you have got to participate in our Speed Scrap over at ScrapMatters this week. Andrea is hosting two so you should be able to find one that fits your schedule. If you have never participated in one I’m telling you they are too fun. You get a new rule every ten minutes on what to do with your LO. After an hour you have an additional hour to get your LO finished and posted in the gallery. If you aren’t registered at ScrapMatters make sure you go and do that now so you don’t have to mess with that part on one of the Speed Scrap Days.  There are always freebies and a drawing for a store coupon too. Well I couldn’t decide on a time for the speed scrap that I am hosting this week. I wanted to be able to include people in Europe who are usually asleep during the evening speed scraps. But yet I knew some people who would be mighty disappointed if we didn’t have a speed scrap in the evening (US time) this week, sooo…..I decided on Tuesday 7pm (Pacific time) and Thursday at 10 am (Pacific time).These will be two totally different speed scraps with two totally different sets of rules.

For those of you who manage to squeeze one of these speed scraps into your busy schedule you will receive a fantastic mini kit by Ellie Lash called Wish Garden.

For those of you crazy enough to do both speed scraps you can also receive your choice of my What’s Hangin’ Tag Alpha or my What’s Hangin’ Journals & Tags.

My Independence!!!

I have a brand new kit out and I just love it. It represents so many things to me. The first one is of course the independence of the United States of America, which we celebrate here in the States on July 4th. It also represents my independence from paper scrapping. I have been digi scrapping for a few months now but with this, my fourth solo kit, I’m feeling pretty confident that I will never return to paper scrapping again. I think I love that feeling.  You can find My Independence selling at ScrapMatters.

 

Here are a few layouts I put together with My Independence. This kit is very versatile and certainly not limited to American users. Here are a few LO’s to give you some great page ideas.

These first two I did for a challenge at ScrapMatters. We had to do a LO about an obsession so I did one of my great nephew’s obsession with horses and the rodeo. He loves the rodeo and pretends he is a bronco rider. It is the cutest thing.

This one is some backyard photos I took of my kids last year. I have actually scrapped these before but I thought this was the perfect kit to scrap them with so I did it again. That’s the great thing about digi scrapping.

Next is a two pager I did of my youngest son during some of his more peaceful moments. I love the stars hanging on the wires.

I can’t end without showing you another one of GG Digital Designs kits. I just love this one and it is so appropriate for our Father’s Day month of June. It is titled When Daddy Comes Home. It is full of very fun “guy” things so take a real close look and then stop by the shop and scoop it up.
